Rebecca Nelson has practiced personal injury exclusively since being called to the bar in 1992. Rebecca has represented victims of motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-fall injuries and assaults. She also handles short-term and long-term disability claims and appeals for Canada Pension Plan disability benefits. Since 1992, she has developed extensive experience handling claims involving all types of injuries including chronic pain, PTSD, brain injuries, soft tissue injuries, etc. and all types of accidents including motor vehicle, bicycle, trip and fall, etc. Rebecca has a client centered approach to litigation: You have the right to know your rights, understand the litigation process and be provided with all the information you need to make informed decisions. Rebecca has appeared at all levels of the Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal, as well as before various government tribunals, including the Social Security Review Tribunal. Rebecca has volunteered at the Metropolitan Distress Centre, Taylor Place Community Services, Feed the Hungry Program, Etobicoke Elderly Services, and a local Etobicoke community based foodbank. Rebecca is also an avid cyclist.
