Annie Zhuang is a fearless and passionate advocate with an interdisciplinary background and a dedication to her community. At law school, Annie honed her advocacy skills in dispute resolution. She represented University of Ottawa in national and international moot court competitions, including the Bowman National Tax Moot and the John H. Jackson Moot on international trade law, where her team won Best Complainant written submission in North America. She was awarded a scholarship to the University of Barcelona’s renowned International Economic Law and Policy program.
Annie has extensive experience working with charitable organizations that provide access to justice and support services to diverse communities. She assisted ex-prisoners during her time at the John Howard Society of Toronto. She volunteered at Reach Canada, a legal program for individuals with disabilities. She also served on the board of directors for Quanzhou Association, a Chinese non-profit organization dedicated to the social integration of immigrants
Annie’s current practice focuses on family law, where she applies her dispute resolution skills to helping individuals through one of the most stressful experiences in their life. She has a collaborative and pragmatic approach to assisting clients in all types of family law issues, including divorce, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, common-law separations, custody, access, child and spousal support.
Outside of law, Annie enjoys volunteer work, electronic music events, traveling and recreational sports.
